Why our system is better for Crane Testing
Traditional test weights – concrete blocks, steel slabs, re purposed kentledge etc – create real problems on site. Awkward to handle, difficult to secure, often supplied with no documentation or lift plan, and frequently relying on cargo lashing straps that offer little genuine restraint.
Positive securing – no lashing required
The 1Te weights fit inside the recess of the 5Te weight and are positively secured by an interlocking design. The 5Te weights lock onto either a cradle or a lower weight by a positive interlock, even when fully loaded
with 1Te weights. The is no reliance on lashing straps.
Integral rated lift points
All 1Te and 5Te weights have dedicated trunnion lift points.
Smaller weights utilise central lift points.
Flexible configurations
Quickly and safely, you can achieve the SWL, +10% and +25% overload tests required to satisfy the regulations. As an example, for a 20Te crane the test weights could be reconfigured to achieve 20Te (SWL), 22Te (+10%) and 25Te (+25%) in a matter of minutes.
